We just received a Champlin Foundations’ grant on “3D Center at URI.” This grant will help create a facility where students & faculty can create models, animate, view in 3D & print them for closer inspection. Students will team up with faculty to create teaching animations. To set up the facility we will need to develop a dedicated website, research 3D items, & deal with a wide range initial logistics.
