Get shared, centralized file storage for your department, unit, or group — accessible as a mapped network drive from any URI-connected computer. These Windows (SMB) file shares are hosted on on-premises servers managed by ITS, suited for workflows that depend on traditional network drives — such as scanning documents directly to a share, legacy applications that write to a file path, or departmental processes built around shared folders. On Windows, the share appears as a lettered drive (e.g., H: or S:) in File Explorer; on a Mac, it mounts as a folder in Finder under Network or via the Connect to Server dialog.
