Rhody Connect Content Partnership

Managed by the IT Innovation Group, with direction provided by the URI Mobile App Advisory Committee, Rhody Connect is an ongoing collaboration between University of Rhode Island departments and the URI community. This partnership is key to creating a mobile experience that is engaging, meaningful, and essential. We are developing guidelines and a service model to give URI partners the ability to extend the underlying mobile app platform to meet the needs of their audience.

Core App Content

Content inside the Rhody Connect app is determined by several factors which include input from campus partners, users of the mobile app, and governance set forward by the URI Mobile App Advisory Committee. A primary focus of the Rhody Connect app is to make relevant information easy to find, quickly. The app is continually evaluated to add those resources requested by users which also align with campus initiatives, while removing resources that are no longer in demand.

The Mobile App Advisory Committee will consider modules, features, and functions proposed by students, faculty or staff at URI. If you would like to add functionality to Rhody Connect, please contact urimobile@uri.edu to discuss your ideas, or submit an application to request a module.
