The Cloud and IT Infrastructure (CITI) team manages URI’s cloud, server, storage, and data infrastructure. Our team supports the systems and platforms that many URI services and workflows depend on.

- JupyterHub — Browser-based Python notebooks for course instruction
- R Studio Server — Browser-based R and RStudio environment for courses
- Virtual Computer Labs — Uniform fleets of specialized apps and environments
- Web Hosting — Managed web server hosting for dept. sites, incl. SSL certs.
- Databases — Hosted databases for depts. — MariaDB, Oracle, and SQL Server
- Servers — Virtual servers in the cloud or on-premises, no hardware needed
- AWS Cloud Storage (S3) — Cloud storage for files, backups, and archives
