We strongly encourage all users to rely on the Cisco‑provided Webex soft client, as it offers the most complete feature set and ensures long‑term compatibility. Any user with an assigned URI telecom number will be configured for the Webex Calling soft client. Physical phones require specific configuration by the system admin and is subject to model limitations as seen below.
If a physical desk phone is required, please contact the IT Service Desk to request a telecom consultation. Phones are typically available, but inventory may vary. Physical desk phones incur the costs outlined below and require approval from departmental leadership.
