In addition to our site license for the SAS Education Analytical Suite, we now offer two more options to professors and students at no additional cost: SAS Appstream and SAS OnDemand for Academics.
SAS Appstream is a way to run SAS on any device connected to the Internet. It contains all the libraries included in the SAS Education Analytical Suite, but does not require a download and installation. You can request it by contacting Christian Vye at christianvye@uri.edu. Once you have access, it will appear among your apps in https://myapps.microsoft.com.
SAS OnDemand for Academics runs on Mac, Linux, or Windows, as well as any iOS 6+ device that is connected to the Internet. It includes the same extensive set of libraries that are included in our site license with the SAS Education Analytical Suite. You will also be asked to create a SAS profile or log in if you already have one, but you will not have to download any software.
