University-wide migration to Webex Calling

URI ITS/Unified Communications Team has been migrating URI’s existing Cisco VoIP phone services to Webex calling throughout 2025. Inbound and outbound calling are being transitioned to the Webex computer or mobile application for most users, but also supports traditional Cisco desk phones when required.

As of June 2025 more than 60% of your colleagues have completed this migration.

If you wish to migrate immediately please open a IT Service Desk ticket requesting migration to Webex cloud calling for your number by emailing helpdesk@uri.edu
