Zoom Video Conferencing service is provided at no cost to all members of the URI community. With Zoom, faculty, students and staff may utilize the web-conferencing features in a variety of ways for work and education. Zoom works well from both Windows and Mac systems and is also available via portable devices such as IPad/IPod and Android-based systems.
Features
Zoom features include the ability to host up to 300 participants per session, breakout rooms for small group discussions and work, HD video, session recording, virtual backgrounds, closed captioning, and more.
Zoom AI Companion: Preliminary Guidelines
Access
Access is integrated into the University Single Sign On (SSO) solution via the Office 365 portal. Accounts are automatically provisioned via a user’s initial access of Zoom through the Office 365 portal.
Visit the Office 365 portal.office.com or URI-edu.zoom.us to log in with your URI email address
