Rhody Connect is available for download on Apple and Android devices. Click the appropriate link below to download the app directly to your mobile device.
Upon first loading Rhody Connect, you’ll be asked to choose one of four user personas:
- New Student: Guiding you on the Rhode to Becoming a Ram, this persona was created for the admitted and newly matriculated students. It’s complete toolkit including to-do lists, in-person and virtual campus tours, an interactive campus map with building, department and parking info, and Rhody Day Trip and O-Week information.
- Current Student: Use this persona to access features useful around campus for current students, including a campus map, dining menus, virtual ID card, student and staff directories, laundry and shuttle tracking, and an events calendar.
- Faculty/Staff: This persona offers features specific to employees of URI, including PeopleSoft and Paystub RI access. There are plans to password-protect this persona in the future in order to enable additional functionality.
- Visitor: Whether you’re a first-time visitor or returning alum, Rhody Connect is here to help you explore campus, access services, and learn about upcoming events.
Login to the URI SSO
Sign in to the URI Single Sign-On to enable direct access to connected apps and functionality.
- Two ways to open the Sign in page:
- Tap the head and shoulders icon at the top right of any screen
- Tap Sign in at the bottom of the home screen
- Tap URI Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Enter your URI Office 365 credentials and tap the Sign In button
- Tap Yes to stay signed in on the device
- A banner message will display at the top of the screen as you are returned to the app. Tap the x to dismiss the message.

Laundry Connect Pay
LaundryConnect Pay from Automatic Laundry is a feature rich app that allows you to operate the washers and dryers in your community or campus laundry room with your smartphone. Check your laundry room signage for information and availability of Laundry Connect Pay. Bluetooth is required to be on to recognize and start machines.
