Panopto users – please note the scheduled downtime and mandatory client upgrade notice described below.

June 2021 Downtime

Start: Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 9:00 pm EDT
Estimated End: Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 1:00 am EDT
Estimated Duration: 4 hours
Description: The Panopto Cloud will be updated with the latest features and improvements. 
Impact: During the downtime, URI Panopto users will not be able to access videos on your Panopto site and any attempts to upload from recording clients will result in a “Server unable to connect” message.

July Mandatory Client Upgrade

Date: Thursday, July 15, 2012 at 8:00 pm EDT
Description: Panopto will require users for Windows & Remote Recorders to be upgraded to version 9.0.2 or above and Panopto for Mac to version 10.1.0 or above. The upgrade will be applied to your Panopto site at 8:00 pm EDT/5:00 pm PDT.

August 2021 Downtime

Date: Saturday, August 14, 2021
Time and duration: to be announced.
Description: Panopto will be making a number of updates to the Panopto Cloud infrastructure to improve performance and scalability. These updates will require downtime.
