eCampus Has Moved to SSO

eCampus now utilizes Single Sign-On (SSO) for a faster and more secure login. Visit myapps.microsoft.com and look for the eCampus tiles.

eCampus is the University of Rhode Island’s central online system for Student Administration, Financials, and Human Resources. Students, faculty, and staff use eCampus to manage class registration, timesheets, payroll, requisitions, and other administrative tasks.

Note: Access is integrated with URI’s Single Sign-On (SSO). If you experience login issues, visit myapps.microsoft.com directly – not using saved links or bookmarks.

How to Log In:
Use your URI credentials to log in through the Microsoft MyApps Portal. Locate and select the eCampus tile once signed in.

First-Time Access:
New users must Register for eCampus. This includes students, faculty, and staff.

SSO Reminder:
eCampus is only accessible via URI’s Single Sign-On. Make sure you’re not using outdated bookmarks or links.

Browser Tips:
If you have trouble accessing the portal, clear your cache and cookies. See support instructions under the Support section.

The URI parking management system supporting all parking permits, parking registration, violation display and permit renewal operations.

AIMS Parking is the official portal for Transportation and Parking. To purchase a faculty/student parking permit, pay tickets online, file an appeal ticket, obtain visitor or event permits, and modify vehicles on your account, visit the AIMS Parking application on the Microsoft MyApps Portal. (myapps.microsoft.com).

Active Directory (AD) is a Microsoft-developed directory service used by URI to authenticate and authorize users and devices in the network. Integrated with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory forms the foundation of URI’s Single Sign-On (SSO) service, enabling secure and streamlined access to university systems and applications. It also ensures centralized management of security policies, identity data, and software updates across multiple platforms.

  • Centralized Authentication: Manages user access and permissions within the URI system.
  • Integrated Security: Works with Microsoft Azure for a unified and robust SSO experience.
  • Automated Data Feed: Receives identity and entitlement data directly from URI Human Resources via eCampus.
  • Policy Enforcement: Assigns and enforces security policies across devices and networks.
  • Software Management: Supports the deployment and updating of software within the Windows domain.

Access

User Authentication:

  • AD provides secure SSO access to university systems using URI credentials.

Eligibility:

  • All URI students, faculty, and staff with active credentials are automatically enrolled.

Technical Integration:

Identity and entitlements are automatically updated through a data feed from eCampus.

The URI Single Sign-On service provides URI staff with convenient, secure access to multiple URI applications with a single username and password and multi-factor authentication. All Single Sign-On applications can be accessed through the Microsoft MyApps Portal
