Network / Comm Services
URI networking is a complex computer network providing wired and wireless end point access to virtually every space on all URI campuses. URI Core networking represents the central network switches, inter-building, and internet connectivity needed to support common end points. These end points may be any connected device such as computers, printers, facilities devices, cell phones, game devices, wireless access points, and telephones. Various university systems require access to the URI network either wireless or wired to perform functions commonly related to facilities management, security controls, and a wide variety of modern convenience systems. If you suspect a service interruption of an existing network interface or require more information please contact the IT Service for assistance.
