What: Transitioning to a new set of systems to support the HR, Finance, and Student Records operations of URI is a massive undertaking and will take at least six years to complete. This project will replace our current aging system with a modern, sleek and more intuitive system that can support the continued development of our University.
Why: Our current PeopleSoft systems are approaching the end of support, currently scheduled for 2031. Transitioning to a modern ERP system for URI will also support a re-examination of current URI business processes, provide a better user experience and support continued expense minimization for URI.
