What: The NSF CyterTeams grant funds student help for faculty members across the state to get research computing projects off the ground. It helps both faculty with their computational research needs and provides valuable student learning experiences as they engage in computational research support.
Why: Many faculty would like to engage with computational research, but struggle to find adequate support to help them get started. This is particularly true at small or midsize institutions, and as the state flagship institution, URI is well-positioned to help support these individuals.
