The URI Information Security team recommends student and faculty alike to have their personal machines equipped with an antivirus program. Depending on your operating system, URI recommends the following precautions to be taken to minimize digital threats.
University Devices
All URI-owned machines must be equipped with the Cylance and Absolute antivirus software provided by the URI Information Security department. If you are a faculty member and need these programs installed on your URI machine, complete a Service request.
