ITS is pleased to offer URI faculty and staff access to the Proofpoint Security Awareness Training program. This opportunity provides a wide variety of different informative lessons ranging from topic specific to general purpose to accommodate all levels of expertise.
The Proofpoint Security Awareness Training program will help you keep your computers, accounts, and data, secure. Knowledge of the course curriculum is essential for safe computing in today’s internet age. Training topics include phishing, mobile device security, social networks, PCI DSS, FERPA, HIPAA, passwords, protecting computers, protecting networks and data. This training is housed in the Proofpoint Wombat security education platform.

Access the Security Awareness Training Platform by doing the following:
- Navigate to: https://uri.ws01-securityeducation.com/login
- Log in using your URI SSO credentials
- Click on your name in the upper right-hand corner of the page
- Choose “My Training”
- The training Modules will be listed on the screen under the “Additional Training” header
