Conference Phones

The University primary telephone system is a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) that provides dial tone to all non-emergency phones located on all University locations. The VoIP phones in service provide native conference calling of up to 6 people and the University also provides a conferencing solution to support up to 25 participants.(https://web.uri.edu/itservicedesk/files/UTN-Conference-Calling-Announcement.pdf)

WebEx and Zoom also provide a dial in phone service tied to your university accounts. Dedicated conference phones for meeting spaces are supported but are limited to specific models. If you need a dedicated conference phone, please open a service request via the IT Service desk for a consultation with a telephone technician
